Love who you are because even if you don’t find yourself attractive, many others do.
Many blogs always say make an exercise routine and stick to it. But reality is, life throws us things that will mess up our routine and some of us don’t have that superpower of getting motivated all over again. So here’s a tip if your like the majority of the people in the world: SCREW THE DAMN ROUTINE!
*Haha, I apologize for the overexaggeration!*
You’re probably now wanting to ask this question: “Well, how the heck am I supposed to lose the weight?!” You gots questions I gots answers ;)
1) DO MORE. Now, what do I mean by this concept of “do more?” Well, lets say your a busy student. The whole day you are practically sitting down writing notes but lets expand on this thinking of doing more. Why not take notes and exercise your leg muscles? You can do so by extending your legs in and out. It won’t be noticeable but yet your burning calories and doing the most of your day. I know it sounds bizarre but try it, it might work. Same principle goes for those who are in the office. Think of it as killing 2 birds in one stone!
**Remember, you are not limited to that! As for me, my “doing more” is instead of using the elevator, I walk up 6 flights of stairs to get to my college class. Thats a good 150 calories right there. While having a routine may help, this way also adds up and will help you reach your goal of becoming healthy!**
Don’t believe me? Well, I suggest you check out the June/July edition of 17 magazine where I got those tips. Hollywood trainer Harley Pasternak gave those tips and here are some of the trainers he trained:

So how did I lose my first 5 pounds?
Background Info: I lost my first 5 pounds in a span of about 2 weeks
Winning Ways: The biggest change I made was my diet. I am ASIAN so I am very heavy with starch (rice and carbs) so while I didn’t cut it out (c’mon it’s my lifestyle!), I did significantly cut the portion of my carbs. I would only eat it at breakfast and lunch. Never for dinner.
Tips & Tricks: The trick while dieting is *drum roll* SNACKS! Seriously, snacks do help because they fight hunger pangs and keep you from overeating. Water also significantly reduces hunger but the things that helped me out is Granola bars and cheese.
WOOHOO!
Hello, hello, hello everyone!
I missed my followers! Sorry for the blog post delays, but so much things are happening! School will officially start for me next week Tuesday so I’m trying to get all of that sorted out! So, first thing to do is update ya’ll on my progress. I am happy to announce that 5 pounds have been shed! *HAPPY DANCE*
Now, of course I’m not gonna leave you all hanging..for now.
;) I will share my tips on how I shed my first 5 pounds ;)

I got this image from ms surfnrunner and I thought that this was a very scale to determine whether we are really hungry or not. Often times, we declare and feel that we are hungry, but really it’s just ourselves convincing that we are. Hope this chart helps. Sure helped me :)
